School of Biblical Teaching: Face to face workshops resumed

The School of Biblical Teaching is a network of churches and organisations that is helping to build the emerging church in North India and Nepal. Its vision is to see the planting and growth of churches that are healthy, reproducing and continuing to multiply. It trains church planters to apply and teach God’s word effectively so that they in turn can train the thousands of leaders of small house churches. It does this through central and regional workshops, preaching clubs and the annual Ezra Conference.

This year face to face workshops resumed, which has brought encouragement and excitement. Four were held in different states in August-September.

The Ezra Theology Course is an integral part of SBT. It gives recognized, seminary level training in Hindi from a local church base, to provide the next stage for SBT trained pastors. This year it is preparing to upgrade the course by adding a fourth year, to equip the pastors even more effectively. Planning for the new curriculum is going on now.
