Pakistan floods

The needs continue and many groups are involved in response (see southasianconcern.org/pakistan-flood-relief-appeal for details). We have received around £10,000 so far, which we are sending to partners on the ground. They write:

“What we are doing now:

* providing $30 worth of food and rations and mosquito nets for as many families as possible;

* providing $45 worth of food and rations and mosquito nets to every family in the 98 villages where our Outreach Project work is going on – whether they come to our worship services or not.”

“What we plan to do later:

* help build roofs for some of those who have lost their homes. $100 per roof;

* help with land fill to raise some homes, so they are not flooded next time. $100 per home;

* provide baby goats for those who have lost livestock. $75 per goat.”
