Unite to End TB

On 28th March 2016 Kachhwa Christian Hospital Transformational Ministries (KTM) observed World TB Day.

World TB day ribbon cutting

The event was organised by KTM’s Community Health and Development Team with a special rally to bring awareness of TB to the community in Kachhwa Town and nearby villages. Mrs Sabila Begam, Chairman of Kachhwa Town Municipality, was chief guest. She inaugurated the rally by cutting the ribbon. The programme was started with prayer by Pastor Sujay Deep. Mr Shankar Ramachandran, Senior Administrator, honoured the chief guest with a special gift.

Mr Rampal, District Coordinator of Project Axshya at KCH, delivered a short speech on TB awareness and treatment. There was a special awareness drama skit presented by KCH team members and a self-composed Bhojpuri song of encouragement shared by Mr Bishram.

World TB Day march

Around 130 people (school children, staff, patients, relatives, community members, NGO members, TB Forum, community volunteers) were at the inauguration of the rally. It started from Kachhwa Christian Hospital’s main gate and went around the Kachhwa Market with a slogan and song.
