Notes for the Journey: following Jesus, staying South Asian
Notes for the journey explores what it means to follow Jesus as a South Asian. Are there things from your culture that you will have to give up or change? What about your family and community? How does this affect your goals and priorities in life? Can you follow Jesus and keep your culture?
Based on the Bible’s teaching, Notes for the journey will help you find practical answers to some of the issues surrounding faith and culture with questions at the end of each chapter for you think about. It has been written particularly for South Asians, that is, those whose heritage is from the Indian sub-continent, many of whom are living in other parts of the world as part as the ‘diaspora’ or ‘scattered people’.
